It's amazing how Satan just can't stand a Christian's declaration of love and faith for Christ. On a personal note, he just HAS to get a little jab at me every now and then. I found myself buying a scratch off lottery ticket today ... in itself not necessarily an instant trip to hell. HOWEVER, for someone like me, who's had a gambling problem before, it can be a slippery slope to a life of hell on this crazy little planet called Earth. The real problem is that I won $100. I have to admit I had the fleeting, irrational thought, that perhaps it was a reward from God! I DON'T THINK SO! Blessings from the Lord do NOT come in the form of money from the Georgia Lottery .... I just don't believe. So I've asked forgiveness from my Lord and for His strength to stay faithful enough to say, "Get thee behind me Satan" .... and to not backslide to the sad, pathetic existence I had before accepting Christ as my Lord and Saviour.

SONday thoughts
I love SONdays! Why is SONday my favorite day of the week? Because this is the day that most people in the America .... you know, the CHRISTIAN America that Obama says doesn't exist. gather in God's house to worship and praise HIM. This is the day, more than any other day of the week, that reminds me how blessed I am. Blessed to just BE. Blessed to be ME, living in a free country ... for now, praise God. Blessed to be loved unconditionally by Jesus who died on the cross for me, for MY sins! I was lost for so much of my life. But I am FOUND!
